Quinvert

Terms of use

Last updated 2026-07-28

This document is not finished. The operator of this service has not yet been named here, and data protection law requires that. Until it is, treat this page as a description of how the service behaves rather than as a complete legal notice. You can reach us at contact@quinvert.com in the meantime.

By using Quinvert you agree to what is written here. If you do not, please do not use it. These terms are short because the service is simple.

What Quinvert is

A file converter. Most conversions run inside your own browser, on your own device, using code we supply. Some formats will later require our servers; those are described separately when they exist.

What you may not use it for

  • Anything illegal where you are, or where we operate.
  • Material depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. This is reported and blocked, and there is no exception to it.
  • Pornographic material.
  • Files you have no right to process, including material that infringes someone's copyright.
  • Automated use at a scale that degrades the service for others, or attempts to circumvent its limits.

We may block access without notice where these are breached. Because browser-side conversions never reach us, this is enforceable in practice only on the server side — which is precisely why the restriction is written down before those conversions exist.

What we do not promise

Quinvert is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will be available, that any given conversion will succeed, or that the result will suit your purpose. File formats are complicated, and some conversions lose information by their nature — each conversion page says what can be lost in that particular case, and it is worth reading before you rely on a result.

Keep your originals. Do not use Quinvert as your only copy of anything that matters to you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of Quinvert, including lost or corrupted files. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

Paid plans

Paid plans are described on the pricing page and are not yet available to buy. When they are, the terms of purchase, renewal and cancellation will be set out before any payment is taken. There is no trial that converts into a subscription.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.

Law

The governing law has not been stated on this page yet. Until it is, nothing here overrides the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
